Amy Ray’s Seaweed Show (and special events)
Artist Amy Ray will be exhibiting a large body of ink paintings, ‘The Seaweed Show,’ beginning Monday, May 23 at EAC’s Washington Street Gallery. The paintings chronicle Ray’s exploration of seaweed from small studies to large scale abstracted works.
The show will run through Sunday, June 26, and is viewable during EAC events or by chance, or during special open hours 1:00 to 3:00 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays. On Sunday, June 5 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, there will be an opening artist’s reception with Gulf of Maine, Inc. in attendance offering samples and information about their work in Pembroke. On Sunday, June 26 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, there will be a closing coffee and conversation event.
