The Beach is a tiny maritime park (in progress). Mission: C.H.A.R.T (conservation, heritage, arts, recreation, tours). The Beach encompasses conservation, heritage, arts, recreation, tours and more: artisan workshops and partner-hosting for writing, painting, photography, kayaking, tours (land and sea), rough reads, storytelling, ancestry/genealogy; a boat landing; The Upper Deck (panoramic sunsets and Adirondack chairs); All-in-One Camp & Kayak; The Friendly Village Studio with traditional arts and crafts; and free parking and fishing at Wilson’s Beach.

Visitors are welcome with or without appointment for self-guided tours. Signs are posted for artisan/faculty sessions. Guests are invited to view and, at artisan/faculty discretion, may be invited to participate.
