A Summer Arts Camp for ages 6-13 will be offered from 9 am-noon, July 9-13, at Eastport Arts Center. In keeping with the camp’s ‘Go Global’ theme, campers will receive a passport to use for their global itinerary. Activities will include printmaking, 3D construction, world music instrument making and dance moves, flags, banners, crowns, games and sports. Camp leaders are Ann Cannizzaro, educator and Willy Claflin, musician and storyteller.

Fairy Festival

Join us to create this play in the old mossy woods by Shamrock waterfalls at the Longhouse Farm in Jonesport on July 15th from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Here you will meet, costume, and entertain the fairies and trolls, build castles, and celebrate with fairy cake for all. Boys and girls age 4-12 should plan to bring a picnic, and a favorite adult. There is a limit of 20 participants, so register now to get more information with DCC’s Helen Waite 207-497-5734, or call the DCC office at 207-255-4500 for more information. It’s FREE!
