EAC’s monthly Kid’s Movie and Food Club continues with a meeting featuring the 2016 animated film Moana on Tuesday, April 17 from 12:30-2:30 pm. Planned in conjunction with EAC’s April Vacation Arts Camp, ‘Escape to Polynesia,’ the PG-rated film is a colorful ocean adventure with a spunky Polynesian heroine at the helm. EAC Island Institute Fellow Tarah Waters will host the event, which will also feature loco moco, a traditional Hawaiian dish of rice, ground beef and eggs, which Tarah learned to make while living in Hawaii last year. The event is by suggested donation of $2/person. For more information, email Tarah at email@example.com. The Eastport Arts Center is at 36 Washington Street, Eastport and is handicapped accessible.
